This privacy policy sets out how Sarah Lewis Counselling uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.
 

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and for internal record keeping.

Your personal information is stored securely and confidentially, either electronically, using codes with password protection or in paper format which is stored in a locked cabinet, coded for protection. The data collected is used to enable effective communication during the therapeutic process, it is used in a safe and ethical manner and is in line with EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
 

Your contact details are held securely for up to 1 year after the therapeutic process has ended and session notes will be held securely and confidentially for 7 years after the therapeutic process has ended, at which point they will be deleted or destroyed accordingly.
 

Your Data

At any time, you may request a copy of the information we have recorded about you. You may also request we remove all identifiable information with respect to yourself.
